1979 - 1991 – Launch of Integrated Residential Communities
This period marked the development of several model residential compounds, including Al Dana and Al Nada in Al Khobar, and Al Yamama 1 & 2 in Riyadh. These projects introduced a forward-thinking approach to secure, gated living environments—well ahead of their time in design and services.
1995 - Opening of Al Rashid Mall – Al Khobar

2006 - Strategic Expansion of Al Rashid Mall – Al Khobar
Al Rashid Mall underwent its first major expansion as part of a multi-use development vision. The project included residential, commercial, and service buildings, a central mosque, and climate-controlled pedestrian bridges, enhancing urban integration and functional connectivity.
2008 - Launch of Al Rashid Residences
Strengthening its hospitality offering, Al Rashid Residences was opened as a premium serviced apartment project directly connected to the Al Rashid Mall- Khobar. It offers guests a seamless experience that blends comfort with immediate access to retail and service destinations.
2010 - Urban Development in Riyadh and Al Khobar
The group expanded its residential footprint with the launch of Al Yamama 3 compound in Riyadh and the development of Al Danah Residential and Office Towers in Al Khobar. 2020 - Establishment of Danah Real Estate
In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and evolving real estate dynamics, Danah Real Estate was established as an independent entity to manage the group's real estate portfolio and lead development and investment strategies, anchored by a comprehensive digital transformation.
2021 - Opening of Grand Hyatt Hotel – Al Khobar
The five-star Grand Hyatt Al Khobar opened as a flagship hospitality landmark within the Al Rashid District. It is a fully integrated destination combining residential, retail, entertainment, and hospitality functions across more than 400,000 sqm in the heart of Al Khobar.
2022 - Launch of Danah Integrated Facility Management
Danah Integrated was established as a specialized arm for facility operation and maintenance. It leverages over 70 years of hands-on experience to provide high-quality operational services that ensure asset sustainability and user satisfaction.
2023 - Al Rashid Mall Redevelopment Project – Al Khobar
Danah Real Estate launched a major redevelopment of Al Rashid Mall– Al Khobar , with an investment nearing SAR 800 million. This transformative project aims to reimagine the visitor experience through contemporary architecture, upgraded services, and innovative entertainment, setting new benchmarks in the retail and leisure sector.
